"Eclipse" Review

"Eclipse" highlighted some of the characters of the movie. Victoria, the ever avenging enemy of the Cullen clan finally realizes to materialize her ill motive of bringing down the clan by making an army of newborn vampires, and working behind its chosen leader, Riley Biers, a local of Forks who disappeared a year ago. 
It also emphasized the character of Edward, the "old-school", cold-bloodied boyfriend of Bella, to whom you will surely emphatize more as he doesn't have any control over Bella, the stubborn, hard-headed vampire girl and at the same time the wolf girl of the series. She is willing to be changed for the sake of love, he is willing to let her go once she changes her mind. Love that is, unfathomable. Like the love between Jasper and Alice, between Emmett and Rose, and what Jacob felt all along to Bella. "It is not only gravity that is holding you to the earth, but her, that changes everything".
Moreover, the film depicted that vampires and werewolves are not always enemies of each other. They may work together for the safety of everyone else involved.
As for Bella, "Eclipse" is the time of her contemplation-whether or not she should be changed, as many discouragements are thrown upon her face, not only by humans, her dad, mom, friends, Jacob, as well as the other members of the Cullen clan. The choice is hers to make.

Embracing my Creativity after a Long Hiatus

Such a long time before I finally decided to revisit this blog. I have been too immersed with my academic pursuits that I tried to let go of things that make me happy. More than a decade, at that! It was in 2012 when I started teaching after so many years of being a full-time mom. I find it best, since my husband, a seafarer at that time, was looking after our needs. And I wanted to be there with the kids, while they are on their formative years. After his health deteriorated, my husband saw it a sign to finally settle home. I have been the breadwinner since. Not that I am complaining. I was initially fearful, not knowing whether I can really fulfill the obligations of a provider. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND Location of Bingawan on Map of Panay             History has it that in 1901, a community was established known as “ BINGAWAN ”. It derived its name from the creek which resembled a missing tooth, a term “ bingaw ” in the local dialect. The creek is located west of the present site of Bingawan Central School. Settlers from nearby towns who fled from Spanish atrocities made the newly established barrio possible. The barrio was run by the Council of Elders-the people choose among themselves.
